The Marsden Wheelers Cycling Club runs short road races for riders of all abilities on Saturday mornings. This Saturday 7th June is a road race from Draffin Road – a flat circuit near the Poroti Tavern. Meet at 9.00am for a 9.30 start on the corner of Draffin Road and Beverly Hill Road.
Non members are welcome to compete ($5 per ride). Once you compete for 3 times you are expected to join the club.
The third race Saturday August 2nd will be a special event with cups and prizes. These will only be awarded to 2008 financial club members.
August 2nd will also be the start of the next series of Junior coaching sessions for the Marsden Wheelers Junior Squad.
So mark you calendars and get out training on the bike.
