Crunchy bar hill climb results

Below are the results for the Crunchy Bar hillclimb on Tuesday. This week riders had a choice of doing one, two or three laps of Cemetery Road. Matthew set a blistering pace but it should be noted that while he was getting slower each lap his main opponent (the old guy with the beard) was getting faster. Matthew also won the crunchy bar (again) for being first home on handicap. William got fastest time for the two-lappers and Ben was fastest man in the one-lappers and Grace was fastest woman.
Next Tuesday is the last of the Crunchy Bar Hillclimbs – meet outside the Cemetery at 4.45pm.

PS 16 riders braved the elements last Saturday and all had a good time at the MW 66km points race. Elliot won on points for the A grade, Steve won B grade and Anthony won C grade. We had a fine time dealing with the chocolate fish prizes because not all of the winners were at the prize giving. Yum! Someone left their gloves behind – they are in the MW box with the ride numbers and will be at the TT on Sunday. Luckily they were not edible because they would have eaten as well.
