Fiona off to Italy
Well I’m off again!
People probably think I’ve dropped off the radar, but I’ve been busy training, erg 3 days a week at the mo! ewe! too hot!
Prior to Christmas I was once again approached to be part of the Paralympic team to compete in the World Track Champs in Italy, another self funded event meant the decision was tough. Not one to be held back I accepted the challenge and will be travelling with 9 other athletes in early March. This has meant regular trips to the Veledrome in Manukau and a training camp in Invercargill where is did the second fastest pursuit I have ever done and the quickest in Invercargill.
I have two big events before going which are the Auckland Track champs on the 12th and the Track Nationals in Invercargill which start on the 25th, it’s going to be a very busy February but I’m confident i will do a PB in March. I have been training for the 3km pursuit and will also compete in the 500mtr TT.
I will let you know how I get on, hope I sell some more real estate soon!!
