Fred Ogle Ride
The Fred Ogle Ride took place on Sunday the 9th Nov and turned out to be a great success. We have had so many positive comments about the event
and the day seemed to be enjoyed by all.
For us it was a double success with two Avanti sponsored riders coming in first and second place in the 110 km ride ….well done Ben Evans and Elliot Frizelle!! .Also congratulations to Kim Reyburn, from Fat Dogs/Rocket Bikes ( we wont hold that against you Kim ) who was the first Lady home.
The Marsden Wheelers must be feeling pretty pleased too as they had first, second and third placings in the 50km ride. Congratulation Roger Grierson ,Matthew Zenovich and Jonothon Jarman.
The 25km ride was won by a young man who is only 12 years old, Ben Jonhnstone. ….well done Ben.!!
We had a total of 232 riders and we thank you all for your participation, it was a great way to show your support to The Ogle and MacDonald Families after their tragic losses and to the on going cause of cycle safety
We also thank our sponsors and helpers once again as without you it couldn’t have happened.
We are now looking forward to planning next years event which will be bigger and better!! So pencil in your calendars Sunday 8th Nov 2009.
