Location:

Parihaka MTB Park. Entry from Abbey Caves Road, Whareora, Whangarei. Race venue will be sign posted from gate with marshals showing parking

Schedule:

Course opens from 10am for x country practice, it is advisable to do one slow lap before race start but not compulsory .X country race gets under way at 10.30am and should be finished at about 11.30am.

Lunch from 12:00pm to12:30pm.

Downhill official practice gets under way at 12.30pm and racing will start at 1pm . You may ride downhill course before 12.30pm however the shuttle bus will not operate until after x country race is finished .You will get 2 official practice runs and 2 timed runs.

Race Description:

The x country race is approx 1hr long for seniors (yrs 11, 12 and13) and 30 minutes long for juniors (yrs 9 & 10). The course is fun and not to demanding with moderate climbs and fast single track descents.

The downhill course is fast and fun with bridges, table top jumps, berms and mud if it rains!  All types of bikes will be able to complete this course.
